About ME

“The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.”

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry,  The Little Prince

I have always been a storyteller in some way or another. Reading and writing at the age of 3, I often read aloud to my mum and sister, initially the books that were helping me build my vocabulary, later I would tell stories of my own imagining. Growing up in an under developed area, the library became my refuge. Books allowed me to travel to a world beyond.

Studying journalism seemed a good match for my curiosity, passion for reading and writing. The rest is history. A world of broadcasting opened up to me, I loved working in radio before moving to the talking box. There was also the opportunity to specialise; I went from general news reporter to political journalist. This fed my need to know and share what I know with anyone who will listen or read. And although I no longer practice as a journalist, I haven’t stopped being a storyteller.

I still get to play with words - well that is my over simplification of what I do within the reputation management & public relations space.

This little blog lets me share with you my thoughts, experiences and musings on a range of issues, some of which I am almost borderline obsessed with like food.

No breaking news, or tight editorial deadlines, just me writing for fun - what I want, when I want.  Come with me, there are so many stories to share!
